Mission Statement The Way Church exists to lead people into a real and growing relationship with Jesus. We study the Word to know God's truth, worship Jesus with hearts fully surrendered, do life together in authentic community, and spread the good news through missions at home and around the world.
Our Name
In the book of Acts, before believers were ever called Christians, the early disciples were known as followers of "the Way" (Acts 9:2, 19:9, 22:4, 24:14). It was not a title they chose for themselves. It was simply what people saw when they watched how these believers lived. They studied together, worshipped together, shared everything, and carried the gospel to the ends of the earth. We take our name from them, because we want to be known the same way.
Our Mission
The Way Church exists to lead people into a real and growing relationship with Jesus, just as the early church did in Acts. We are built on four pillars.
1. We Study the Word
We dig into Scripture so we know what we believe and why we believe it. Truth is not something we assume. It is something we dig for, wrestle with, and build our lives on.
2. We Worship Jesus
We come together to worship Him with everything we have, holding nothing back. Worship is not a moment on a Sunday. It is a posture for our whole lives.
3. We Do Life Together
We do not just attend church, we do life together, the way the early believers shared meals, homes, and burdens. Community is not optional here. It is how we grow.
4. We Spread the Good News
We carry the gospel through missions, both local and global, taking the same news that turned the world upside down in Acts and bringing it to our city and to the nations.
This is who we are. Not just a church people go to, but a Way people walk.
